QuestGarden Shutdown

No... not for good, but for better!

From December 24, 2006 to January 2, 2007, QuestGarden will be unavailable. We need the time to do a major overhaul and the addition of new features.

During this shutdown we'll be moving all published WebQuests created in QuestGarden to a new site and the structure of the URLs will change. Subject to revision, here is how it will go:

If your old WebQuest was at
http://webquest.org/questgarden/lessons/44285-061204134737/

...its new address will be something like
http://questgarden.com/44/285/061204134737/

and you will have the option of changing that to something like
http://questgarden.com/44/285/rainforest/

For a given QuestGarden member, the first part of the URL (e.g. http://questgarden.com/44/285/) will always be the same for each WebQuest they create, so it should be easier to remember.

More changes are on the way and will be reported here when ready. Sorry for the inconvenience during our shutdown... but you really should be doing something else this time of year anyway!

Honestly, it is a question. I have created a webquest with is listed as having been published most recently this February. (True, although it was originally published last year.) One of my student teachers would like to use it with her students but we can not seem to find it except by loggin in as me. Can you tell me what we are doing wrong? Does this have anything to do with the changeover?

Log in and click on the last published date. That will take you to the URL where your WebQuest sits after being published. That's all you need to give people. NEVER have them log in as you.
