QuestGarden Lives!

Log in and give it a whack! No doubt there will be new little quirks that turn up in the new environment, but it seems to be basically back in business... only faster.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the disruptions the move caused. The complications (as usual) were completely unanticipated and I had to learn a lot of new Linux and php lore in order to get us back on the air. The new server has a lot more room to grow and I don't foresee any more long blackouts.

Now I can focus on adding some more features. (And getting some sleep!)

Bernie.....
Thanks so much for what I'm sure was many hours of work. Looking forward to introducing many more students to this fabulous project. If you have a minute, I'd like to know more about creating a Lesson or Group ID. Again, thank you so much,

Bernie,
Thanks for your work! I have started creating my first QuestGarden webquest - "Turning up the Heat - Global Warming". I tried putting a picture in the introduction. The picture seemed to upload (I resized it so it was appropriately dimensioned), but when I placed it in the text it put the title, but no image. Is there a problem with the site, or am I making a mistake.

Also, if there is a way to put an image for the background of the title, or alongside the title, that would be a nice addition.

Thanks again for your work. The site really helped me organize my thoughts and create a good learning experience.

Thanks for working so hard on getting the questgarden up and running. I was so happy today to finally finish my WebQuest. I pressed the Publish button and was thrilled. However, I put in the URL and my links don't work! It is to my district webserver where my links to the websites I want my students to go are found.
I imagine it is possible for one or two of them to be mistyped, but not ALL of them. I was very careful and checked them all. They work from my documents on my desktop, but not from the links I created here.
Is there some sort of delay between when I "publish" and when it actually works?
Or is it a glitch in this new web server?

I love the site! Thank you!! One quick question though- when I link to an uploaded file (Word doc), the user always gets a "type in your network access password" box! If you click "Cancel" it cancels out and the file loads. HOWEVER...is there some way around this I am missing?

Thanks!
